CN4-33 Marine Boat Variation

I'd like to hear from anyone else out there using the good ole SD22 in a Marine application. Mine is inthe galley floor of our 1974 40'Challenger.We bought it after 4 years of neglect.It has been a smorgasboard of Rust,Salt,Stripped,Painted,Clogged,bolts,fittings,pipes,threads,etc.You get the idea,and I thank all of you for the cures and hints, especially Philip.
