info on 83 sentra

I been looking to buy a 83 sentra diesel . It is at my cousins shop. It is pushing air into cooling system. I belive it to be head gasket . But could be head or cracked block. Ifound head gasket @ rockauto can't find any other parts I haven't bought it yet. Don't want to risk money on car I can't fix. Just want info on where to find parts .and anybody whom has seen this problem before. Thanks
