Diff ratios now

Hi all, getting thins sorted with the Transit for Christmas. The vacuum is ok and have all the gauges going. Final thing is the diff whine above 70k. I'm hoping it will last ok till after the holidays with so additive which I'll try but was thinking of buying a Mk3 Zephyr crown wheel and pinion that's on Trade me at the moment. It's 3.5 to 1. Would this be correct for the LD28?
I wouldn't mind being able to do 100kmph without revving too much if possible. I'm told the zephyr will drop right in.
Thanks

3.5 might be a bit tall.
skyline car runs 3.9-3.7 with 4 speed auto.
this is equal in top gear to 3.2:1 in 3rd gear.

with a 3.5 you will have a good cruise speed ut you have to manual select lower gears in hills area and loaded.this is OK.

our work transit had a dreadfull almost 5:1 we replaced it with close to 3.7.
it simply didnt just rev staight to the redline and pulled the same.
