They are apparently not interchangeable:

"Pulley Assy w/damper" for L24e = 12303-P8101 (-P8111 w/PS)

"Damper - Pulley" for LD28 = 12304-V0710

Vince in BC didn't have one?

Did you contact Salvy and get contact info for Wayne & Billy? Wayne has several parts cars/engines, and Salvy knows how to get ahold of him.

Yep I have contacted Salvy a couple other names that were given to me, either they are no good or dont have extra to sell....I passed the # for Vince to a friend of mine that lives in Vancouver to see what he has, no reply as yet....Fingures crossed!!!!Could you pass his email to me as well?
So if the l24 isnt interchangeable, what are the stroker motors using?
May be the l28 ballancer is differant, because that is the base for the stroker motors from what I have seen.
Thanks

I do not have his email. This is what I have:
I have a friend Vance Swift, that builds the Nissan Power Stroke race engines up here in Surrey. He buys all the wrecked Maximas he can for the motors, so if you are ever looking for a part off the car, he may be a source for you. His number is 604 351-6969.
That's it, that's all I have.
So if the l24 isnt interchangeable, what are the stroker motors using?
I have no idea. Probably the L28 damper if I had to guess, or a high-zoot aftermarket one. A damper is necessary to prevent torsional stress from destroying the crank, but the damper is tuned for a particular design, and using the gasser's damper on a stroker gasser probably works fine. I would not assume that the reverse would be true.

Don, the damper is still available new, for about $188. Do you have to have a used one? And places like Dale Manufacturing can rebuild yours for $100.
