LD28 head gasket thickness

I understand that there are 3 different thicknesses and was wondering whether it was done for compression or cam timing after a head resurface?

I am building one for turbo and am wondering if using the thickest of the 3 gaskets would be the best choice for a turbo application.

i used .060" dead soft on mine and it works great no timing issues at all
83 maxi, ld28, fire ringed, copper head gasket, 5 angle valve job, ported head, coustom turbo flange, gt28r ball bearing turbo 20psi of boost@1250degrees, timing bumped, full load screwed, cold air, straight piped, 308k miles..for now
