fuel pump rd28-ld28

i wonder, can i use rd28 fuel pump on ld28 engine?
if i use the pulley from LD28 pump?
my pump make a horribel noise when i cruise in 80 km/h in 5.gear.

the noise coming with 2-3000 rpm.

i have changed the timing belt and Pulley-tensioner. ant i was for a test drive, and it worked well, i vas going to fill the tank with diesel, and forgotten my bank-card in the other car, and i drive back, and suddenly it begin to smoking so mutch that i dont see the car in the inner mirror. and it stopped outside the workshop.

i will check the timing belt one of these days ..

the car start and run fine now, its in daily use. . but between 2 and 3k rpm its suddenly begin to noyse. but when i press pedal to the metal it is quiet.

i have no idea what the noise is, but i think i have du insert a new pump..

The noise may come from the V-Belt tensioner, water pump or alternator.
We had instances where the V-Belt tensioner seized solid due to bearing failure. Harmonic Balancer failures are also common occurences. I don't think that ther IP pump would make such a noise.
