Coolant flow and vacuum pump

I am building a rat rod 1946 ford truck with LD28 power.
I'm not going to run a heater core at the moment and not running any vacuum pieces.
Do i loop the 2 hoses together (with leopard duct tape)?
Can i plug the oil lines to the vacuum pump?
Can i plug the coolant line that is on the drivers side?
See pictures for explanation.
Also, is there any aftermarket exhaust options?

You won't be running auto trans or power brakes that need vacuum? EDIT: OK, from the pic it looks like manual tranny?

How about unbolting the vac pump entirely from the rear of the alternator? (Three screws.) Then you could simply plug the vac pump oil feed and return fittings at the block.

OR: Substitute the LD28 alternator/vac pump assy. with a newer, simpler, more powerful alternator?

Correct, No power or auto.
I was thinking a single wire alternator. But, i'm trying to keep it cheap right now.
I'll remove the pump. thanks!
Now to figure out these coolant lines...
LD28 pulled out of someone's Ford Ranger project, (they didn't complete), for my 1946 Ford 1-Ton Rat Rod project
