Rattling Rear Brake Calipers (Sedan)

Springtime well underway here; now starting to be windows down weather and I'm hearing new sounds. The rear brake calipers rattle over bumps. Verified by getting the same rattle sound by shaking the calipers by hand. Bolts are tight.

What can silence the rattling? Disk brake grease on the sliding surfaces?

Discs? Sedan I assume? I've got the same problem with the rear discs on my gasser and the fronts on my diesel.

I just picked up 2 sets of pad springs for the diesel in an attempt to cure this rattle. I believe it is caused by the springs losing their "spring".

Are you guys using the hardware kit?

On mine, it's the "sliders" in that they have play.

In order to eliminate pads shake and noise you must use the genuine hardware kit.
