Im getting tired from all that nose thats coming out of the exhaust and I want to make it quieter.
Does anybody know if those mats that are stapled to the hoods of cars would insulate sound as well as brand name sound deadening mats like dynamat, or would it stop sounds as well as rubberized undercoating.
Im trying to get a good guess as to how much sound its going to stop because I can get ahold of a lot of that stuff for free.
Noisy rig

In the audio world, Dynamat seems to have a good reputation. It's not cheap though.
