I have a Nissan Forklift with a SD25 engine. What is the proper way to bleed fuel to injectors?
Thanks

Re: Fuel Bleeding SD25 Engine
If you have the inline pump on the fork lift then use the small manual lift pump on the side of it. Using this pump, open the 2 bleed screws on the front and rear of the injection pump and begin pumping. Once there is not more air bubbles and fuel is running from the screws close them one at a time as one may purge air before the other. You should be good to go then.
If you have the VE style pump then you only need to bleed the filter housing using the purge pump at the top of it and then crank till it starts.
No injector line bleeding is required on these as it's a self bleeding system that way. The fuel return rail allows any air in the injector lines to sent back to the tank.
Using a piece of clear plastic tube ( temporarily ) will allow you to see if your still sucking air from the filter to the pump.
If you do not have the primer pump option on the filter housing then fill the fuel filter as full as you can get it before putting it on. This will cut your hand pumping time by quite a bit.
