Hello, My Entry into this Forum

SD diesels were widely available in the US in the 1981-86 Datsun/Nissan 720 pickups, and in Canada through '87 in the D21 pickup.

To introduce myself,

I am Highway Man of Hillman, {same as old Roote Groupe U.K. Car} Western Australia,
I own a lovely old Beastie "D21 SD-25 Diesel", with a Dropside Tray, She cost me $1600-00,
She was headed for the job as a Farm Paddock Ute, so I bought Her, no smoke, no leaks,
Five New Tyres, rather large wheels, New Battery Front end Parts, Windscreen, new Starter Motor
And the Dash Clock is all that works!

So I took it home and Fed Her, Her only job is to pull my little caravan 371 Miles to Kalgoorlie to visit
our Grandchildren twice a Year!

I hope to get to know you lot over time, by reading your Humour and stories be they long or Short,
True or B.S., They will all be enjoyed,
If I get Bad Mannered or out of Hand, Do feel free to put me in my place!

Best Regards,

John Richards.

Welcome from the USA!!! :D

If you have any photos of your beastie we would like to see them.
I myself have a Datsun/Nissan 720 with an SD25 diesel, I like the SD25 a lot better than the SD22, it has more power.
I know the voices are not real,
but they have some really good ideas.

Welcome to the forum from another D21-SD 25 owner.

Mine however has the steering wheel on the "correct" side of the vehicle.

You just got a pair of locking pliers on the stub shaft.
Kinda "outback" ain't it ?
