(I edited this post lightly to correct a minor problem with how the photos display. It is better to press enter after every photo when linking to multiple photos. Hopefully, I didn't lose any of them. Goglio704)

VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY IMPRESSIVE!

You win the trophy!

I like how you fitted the foglights.

Two questions:

1. What product do you use on the bumpers?

2. What kind of insurance policy do you have? Asking because I have heard only horror stories from people who have had well-maintained older cars (and KBB value is low or nonexistent), when they get hit the insurance co. totals the car and pays pennies. Showing maintenance records and receipts does not help. My car, while not in the same league as yours, is still quite a bit above average and I would like to avoid that situation.

Note to moderator: Probably should move this thread into the "User's rigs" forum.

Carimbo is right, this should be in User's rigs. No big deal, I need moderation practice anyway.

That is the most pristine Maxima I have ever seen. Very nice indeed.

My original Maxima is white, but has the brown and tan interior. Looks like yours is blue.

I have collectors car insurance on all my old datsuns.About 700 a year.Hagerty Insurance will pay 10,000 in case of total loss.

The fog lights were fitted at the Datsun dealer when new they are factory equipment, Bosch with a factory switch next to the coin holder on the left of the steering wheel.

This vehicle is treated and pampered like a baby, and driven alot. I enjoy watching the odometer click.

Are there any mileage/usage restrictions? That would be a dealbreaker for me (daily driver, ~15,000 mi/year).

Isn't it Grundy that has unlimited mileage? Driven for pleasure of course. ;-)

BTW, whoever took the last pic, I'm not sure if it was planned or not. But it looks like you spiked your hair.

I think, if I remember that far back. The spiked hair for the 80's were the brain explosion type spikes. This one with the pine tree behind you, is making a comeback for the early part of the 21st century.

Have any pics of your other datsuns?

That's a show car. I, too, have never seen one that presents as well. Congratulations, that's a winner.

Is that an import model, or was it sold in the US originally?
