Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

Hey guys

The time has come to let go of my diesel setup.
I have an engine with approx 182K miles from an '82 maxima. It ran well and when I pulled it. I just replaced the glow plugs, and the belts. It comes with the air cleaner, primer/filter(new filter), cables and pretty much everything but the starter. It has the alternator(and a spare), as well as a spare balancer. I can toss in the PS pump as well as I wont be using it, but there will be no lines on it(just clarify you want it). The engine needs a valve adjustment, but otherwise is in pretty good shape from what I can tell. I suspect it has low compression in one cylinder, but I do not have the tools to make the valve adjustment. So its probably that. It had a slight miss at idle. Just want to be as honest about it as possible. The miss goes away while driving.

The Trans is a stock 3spd auto from the same car. I have the whole shifter and linkage for it as well as the lines to the radiator.

Id like to sell these two together, but will split them up. I figure you guys wont buy the engine just to get a crank out of the deal as well. I love my diesel, but the roads here demand a faster car. So for now its gonna get a gas motor. Some day I hope to replace it with an RD28T

I think $1500 is fair for a deal on both. Feel welcome to make me an offer. I cant offer much in the way of shipping.

I also have 5spd parts from a gasser 83. Clutch and brake pedal.
$50+shipping
