Ok here we go this is a pet project of mine , I was looking for an older motor and I found a 1978 Nissan SD33 motor and Chrysler 727 trans , from an old IH scout. I resealed the motor and Trans. added a extra fuel pump and fiter setup. I will be willing to explain any mods and such on this vehicle. I have driven this van to Ohio from Florida twice. Average mileage was 17MPG. (Both times pulling a small trailer) the rear end is 3.73 and only had a running speed of 60-65 mph... It has a tendancy of using oil at these higher RPM's. Again I am quite willing to discuss any particulars with this setup. I use Biodiesel in all my vehicles and this particular engine was not my favorite for it. I will drive it anywhere within 800 miles of my zip (33538) for $0.25/miles (1 way price) ... I will just throw my bike in the back and ride it home .
