I replaced ONLY the carrier / rubber cushion assembly about 1-1/2 yrs ago. The shafts always had some vibration in the 49-55 mph. So this time, I had the whole drive line assembly replaced. A local drive-line company made a new one complete. Is SO much better now. No vibration. The most shaking (whipping) occured when starting off on 1st with heavy load (500 lb+).

1) My OEM and this replacement assembly is a two piece with middle bearing support and rubber doughnut (KingCab). Seems a single rear propeller is used in non-KC or for automatic transmission(?).
2) I'm not clear on what you're asking.
3) I have an ol friend who has contacts (everywhere) at a drive-line builder nearby who often builds propellers drives to spec. Whole job (R/R & new assembly) was $250.

I've got driveshafts from three trucks and they're all two-piece, including a non-KC one.
