Does someone have the tranny ratios handy so that they could post them here. I called myself doing a search and couldn't find it here or on the net.

Thanks,

Datsuns.com transmission ratios/ etc

They are listing a 4spd for the maxima, as well as the xxN71B transmissions under automatic. I dont know what the manual maximas run.

It does list the transmission model number, so just link it up to what the manual's number is that you got.

I think they made a 4 speed available in 81 as the manual option. Back when you could still chose a "DX" or the Maxima. the std. trans wasn't available on the Maxima, only on the "DX" model.

The early 1981 (Sep-80) full line sales pamphlet does not list a 4-spd option for the 810 or Maxima, regardless of trim level.
