Anyone converted to run a LD28 on svo? I Did a search and didn't find anything. I don't want to believe there are so many datsun/nissan diesel fans and no one has. :-)

Several folks here are trying to run SVO/WVO. The VE-style IP is fragile. Use Search and you will find some threads, though I do not actively encourage discussion of non-transesterified oil as a fuel here. Read the second post in this thread for why I am not a fan of WVO/SVO. I don't want to begin a debate on the merits of BD vs SVO/WVO, that's covered well in other sites, but if you want to discuss it in the Off-Topic forum, that's fine with me.

Again, there are a couple of folks who've posted here that are running SVO systems, so there is some knowledge to tap if you wish.

Al S.

Afterthought...... That was a very good read, thank you for pointing me there. I can honestly say I didn't plan on converting one but was interesting to see some results esp since I plan to end up with a LD as a power plant, but after reading that thread and researching its points myself I have to agree with you on the subject.
