Used Nissan SD33T diesel engine out of 1980 International Scout. I had a diesel scout and needed a block. Bought this complete engine 5 years ago. Engie was out of a running vehicle. Vehicle was driving but head gasket was supposed to be leaking. Gentlemen had pulled engine to repair motor, when he got the engine out I asked about the motor and another person bought the tub. All I know about the engine is it was supposed to be in good shape but needed a head gasket. Not sure where the gasket had been leaking(to long to remember) Engine has been setting on the same shiping pallet in a machine shed ever since I bought it. It was covered with a tarp it had been shipped in until we unbanded the unit to get the pictures.
The turbo, diesel pump, clutch and pressure plate, starter, water pump, valve cover, and air cleaner are all present. I do not know of anything missing. This is a used engine sold with no warranty. I never pulled the head off to even look at the cylinders or the pistons. I was going to tear the motor clear down and build it up correctly. Decided teh rest of the Scout was not good enough for that and sold it. Now I do not need this engine. This would make a great long block to start a project.
