Problems even when cold. Lots of marine rigging screws now have a bronze body to receive the SS eyes because 50% of SS to SS threads gall under any kind of load no matter what lubricant you put on them. Leave'm alone for 5 years and it's about 80%.SS nuts, or SS studs, but not both, is best unless you've got a very good reason to need everything SS, such as marine or aerospace.
Jamestown Distributors (internet) have lots of fasteners in various materials. Not aimed at the auto market but you can find washers, nuts and bolts there easily enough.
