1983 LD28 Maxima Diesel Auto

Hello,

I have an old 1983 diesel automatic that I need to get rid of. It had a blow out with a coolant leak a while ago. I fixed all the hoses and the coolant leak, but what came of it is that it needs a new head gasket. It still runs and starts fine so it could be limped somewhere.

I call her selma, and she was really good to me when she went, but she is headed for the dump unless someone can offer more than the 500 the scrap man can.

I'm not really in a place to pull parts, so I'm hoping someone can make an offer and it can go to a new diesel lovers home. They are great, but its time for me to move on. I'm in Port Townsend, WA.

Let me know anyone who is interested. I'm giving it till the 12th of march and then selmas headed to the wreckin yard.

Im sure someone should get it would be a shame mine has a cast iron head so it can heat up without cooking the gasket.i almost blew mine when i found a rad leak and the temp guage was highest i ever seen.
I always watch it . Pulled over at random house to grab a garden hose .
Now a bottle of bars leaks saved it .Im up in bc so that would not be a possibilty ,but people from states want to come by an engine from me ,I do not know what they are worth just super rare .
