Bidding is for one new remanufactured steering rack & pinion, part number 40-60507. This fits Nissan 810 1981 with L24E engine, and Nissan Maxima from 1982 through 1984 with L24E engine.
I don't know that the L24e and LD28 racks are all that different. NAPA lists one rack for both engines.
I bought an LD28 head gasket set from these folks, they shipped it in a box that was no longer than the head gasket, and UPS destroyed it by crushing it. This Seller completely refunded the auction cost and shipping, so I am satisified with them, but if you win this PS rack, do specify that they put some blocks of wood on either end of the rack's box to prevent the tie rods from protruding out the box by the time it gets to you, like mine did from another Seller.
I ran a diesel PS rack, but I did notice that the fittings leaked a little, but im not too sure if that was the rack's design or if it had to do with the fact that I didnt tighten it enough because it was a temporary getup
