I found a web site that had at the very least part numbers for nissan TD IP's http://www.vepump.cn/CZZ.htm I wonder if any would work for a retro fit. Maybe the site sells them too.

I see this aussie has an SD25 with the Bosch VE injection pump. BIG a/c pump too. I have never read or seen from Nissan an SD22 turbo.TooManyIdeas wrote:ok but are the bosch part numbers good? and if so which turbo pump would interchange the easiest with the sd22?
There are 4 lugs allowing Bosch inline injection pumps but only 3 lugs allowing Bosch VE and CAV injection pumps to the cam gear house. There's more stuff.

I've noticed in my searches that zexel ve pumps have more nissan applications than bosch. I've also noticed that they are the same company. I'm confused over wether the zexel units will fit or not, and from what diesel incarnations SD TD CD LD ect. And will any ve pump work or specificly turbo applications?
In regards to the 3 vs 4 lug of the pumps that isn't too big of a hurtle but what do you mean by "more stuff" Phillip?

Were you to install a VE from an SD23 / SD25, then all the "work" would fine. But you want to match a turbo on an VE that was never fitted to an SD. Do you know enough? I bet this is no "kit" you want.TooManyIdeas wrote:-snip- In regards to the 3 vs 4 lug of the pumps that isn't too big of a hurtle but what do you mean by "more stuff" Phillip?

I'm just goin off the info you guys have been laying down. I'm just interested in putting a turbo on the sd the most efficient way possible. If there is a better way than the ve pump I'm all ears... or eyes as it were...reading forums...and stuff

I take it back. I'm not sure that you want it. Bangs into the oil filter for one. Let me fool around a while longer and maybe I'll have a solution.bacho wrote:Cool, I will try to find one, but none on ebay at the moment. How much galen?
Meantime, I have put the TB back in front of the turbo like I had it originally. Still experimenting.

I put an electric fan on the front, but haven't had to use it. It's been over 110° lately and no problem. Haven't been pulling hills or idling a lot in traffic, but the needle isn't acting touchy. Can't quite understand why WillyMammoth was having such a problem with his.philip wrote:BTW, I don't see the fan hub at the water pulley.
BTW, just passed my emissions test. Of 20% (whatever that means) the lil mule scored 0%. Now I can start turning it up.

With throttle body in-front of turbo....so you're not worried about pulling oil in from turbo bearings on part throttle???
RE: IP... go see if someone on Scout forum's have an old SD33t IP they wish to sell/donate for experimentation (ie mix and match with your ip???).
