Picking up from your other post ... ahem ... I do not find enough about your home-turbo installation. Is your home-turbo set up to have the air throttle body before or after the turbo? Makes a HUGE difference. Also, the "smoke screw" is NOT for idle speed.weezledeezle wrote: The turbo spools up just off idle, which sends the engine racing- let off the fuel and the speed drops, the turbo spools down and the engine tries to die. I have this cycling down to 15 seconds or so with base fuel (adjustment screw), but still cant get out and watch it run from outside the vehicle, I need to stay and either give it fuel, or cut its air depending- cockpit work.

Weezle- How about some pictures?
I don't understand why you have to be in the cab to control the fuel. Seems to work better if you have your hand directly on the IP contol than a remote linkage. Are you alone? Are you not aware that you can operate the starter from the engine compartment?
I assume you have no throttle body (per your earlier comment). Did you read my previous post? You did not respond to any of the points I brought up, namely that you cannot keep the rack static at idle.
Do you completely understand how the governor works?

Is the diaphragm still in place?
Have you made any internal governor mods?
Are you trying to control the rack from the back (manual control of the diaphragm) or are you trying to use the control arm at the side?
Please answer all the questions, one by one. If you do not have the ability to upload pictures please take extra time in crafting your answers.
