SD diesels were widely available in the US in the 1981-86 Datsun/Nissan 720 pickups, and in Canada through '87 in the D21 pickup.

I think WVO can be done better and worse. But it requires rigorous procedures and scrupulous maintenance, and that still doesn't address acrolein emission.
Pay for fuel ... your engine lasts for a LONG time. Get free fuel ... you pay YOUR personal time and ... your engine is likely shortened. That's the way things go but for owners dedicated to "rigorous procedures and scrupulous maintenance". :wink:
