2007 - New EPA mpg estimates

The (new) EPA ratings estimate the MPG a "typical" driver should get under "typical" city and highway conditions. However, most drivers and driving environments aren't typical, and the factors that affect fuel economy can vary significantly (seems the old test cycle assumed you NEVER used your A/C nor exceeded 60 mph).

Look up your MPG using EPA's new estimator. Hybrids really take a hit.

If you see displayed in red print "Average User MPG" be sure to click on "disclaimer".

Yep, they're taking a hit because consumer real world experience isn't jiving with the estimates.
