i'm always looking for the "perfect truck." i want a japanese 4x4, king or crew, diesel, with low mileage. i want it cheap. i aint askin for much, am i? seems like everybody where i live is getting a cheap japanese RHD import. moslty land cruisers and mitsubishi delica vans. a friend got a cherry delica diesel van for CAD$5000, through a trusted broker.

i recently discovered the BMD21

todoroki-trading.com/stock/nissan/110-datsun-truck/BMD21-pickup.html

this one is in the UK but it came from japan.

a google search for nissan datsun BMD21 turns up all sorts of trucks. all sorts of prices.

Interesting site and unusual vehicles at not too bad prices (for some).

I think there are a lot of individuals who seem to want to dabble in the import/export vehicle/parts business. The guys from France I know seem to have a thing for American muscle cars...everyone wants what they didn't get!

Nice truck, but it's not a king/crew cab...?

Gotcha, found the crew cab....but the price was rather shocking on the crew. The price on the 1996 D21 I thought was ok for what you're getting; 4x4, 2.7 D engine, low km's, looks nice. That crew cab...ouch on the price!

Good finds though!

I've seen the nagoya site too, nice looking stuff. Unfortunately in the US we have problems with a lot of these on importation unless the same model was available available here in the US. Powerplant sometimes doesn't make any difference though so with VW stuff we can bring it over.
