Just scored a 1999 UD1200 with a 4cyl turbo diesel w/auto-trans.
I've done some google searches for FD46TA and various other terms , very little info on the net.
is there another name for this engine?
A little info on my plans, i'm wanting to install the engine in a Chevy V3500 with a 4L80E trans.
Any help would be Great, thanks in advance.

Looks like I'm going to stay with the transmission from the UD truck, it's a Aisin 450-43LE. From what I can gather through google searches this is a good trans? I like the way you can upgrade the trans to have a PTO bolted to the side.

I'm in the process of removing the drive-train from the truck, been searching the net for a wiring diagram. I would like to remove electronics with pigtail connects only and then rewire when installing. But without knowing the wiring, it's looking like I'm going to have to remove the whole harness. Can anyone help me with a wiring diagram?
