What plugs into this thingy?

SD diesels were widely available in the US in the 1981-86 Datsun/Nissan 720 pickups, and in Canada through '87 in the D21 pickup.

The thingy I am referring to is the little fitting in the block that is in the bottom left hand corner of the block in Galen's beautiful motor. The fitting right next to the shiny oil cooler pipes.

Looks like an oil pressure sensor, electrical connection on top to me, but I am not sure.

Yes, it's an oil sender switch
The old 'six gun' was as popular as the cell phone in its time and just as annoying when it went off in the Theater.
