Special order rear wheel cylinder? Ok not bad. Twice as much. Not great. Frozen e-brake cable no longer available  Has anyone had similar experience and where can I find an e-brake cable set up?

Oh and have you guys been told that diesels years go by manufacture date instead of model year? Since my pick up was made 10/81 when looking for parts, do I look for '81 parts?

I was able to get E-brake cables from Rockauto.com

They have quite a selection. BTW, LWB is Kingcab or longbed. SWB is regular cab short bed. Hope this helps.

May I also suggest Ferman's Mini Trucks; a mini truck only salvage yard. At the moment (8/1/06) they have one 4x4 and two or three 4x2 720s. They also have a number of beds. Will ship.

hey thanks guys -i found a light truck and van salvage yard less than a mile from my house and spent 3 hours pulling and bargaining( i tried to get him to pay me for pulling the drums and fuel tank that were in the way  he didn't go for it but only charged me $20 for all 3 cables and brackets.)
