The 2.2 liter/R22 diesel engine with 5 speed and 157K original miles- ideal for biodiesel. The original owner kept it in a barn and used it for hauling firewood. The R22 is also a tractor motor making parts easier to find and inexpensive. It gets 35-40 mpg and runs on B100 with BioD composite fuel lines, auxillary inline fuel filter & , stainless steel injecter lines. The rig has a strong rear bumper/hitch for towing; ProNet in place of tailgate; 4 new radial tires; new thermostat, radiator hose, flush/antifreeze, fresh oil/filter, oversized Interstate battery with new tie downs/tray, brakes/emergency brake inspected/adjusted, new clutch & throwout bearing, machined flywheel. The body has no rust or dents and has a red primer coat over the original paint to protect from rust. The bed was recently coated with undercoat to protect it further. The truck could easily be restored with fresh paint, which is available if requested for an additonal $1K. The interrior is without a scratch/tear on the entire dash, headliner, door panels and seat (grey cloth bench). It comes with original jack, keys and owner's manual; service records; spare tire; factory air conditoning (a/c would require a belt and charge); cruise control (has not been operated and may need service).
These trucks are outstanding biodiesel vehicles and run very strong on bio, petro or any combination of diesel fuel. Bio Vehicles International found it in Oregon and worked on it in the northern CA/Humboldt shop over the summer. It is available to show in Portland (new location) or northern California (Redding location). Wow--I learn something new about my truck every day--gee, I have a R22 tractor motor.

And you gotta love the line about being in a coat of primer "over the original paint to protect from rust." Anybody familiar with vehicle painting knows that red primer is porous and does not protect the underlying surface from rust. This guy must have wrote real estate ads in a former life. OK, enough venting--I sure get a kick out of reading through the ads sometimes though.
