One thing these little diesels do very well is SHAKE loose metal and plastic parts ... bad as a Harley.

There have been 1 ... then 2 ... and now 3 vibration rattles emanating from the cowling between the hood and windshield. Pick an RPM between low/cold idle and 1500 or so .... barzzz .... bizzzzzt .......vrrrrrrt.

Removed cowling, found two push clips missing and two tab holders vibration chaffed. A little bending, felt, and all new plastic thingies ... no more musical sheet metal.

The four push-pin clips are just that .... not phillips screws.

I bought one extra "tab holder". Because it's black, it does not photograph / render well at all.

The push-pin clip is a one-use affair. Just pry up under the cowling and break it. Pep Boys has these ... common interior fastener.

Tab holders in stock at a Nissan dealer. $1.62 ea
Push-pin clip in stock too. $1.27 ea
