Are Nissan Diesel Maxima driven in Australia or UK?

I was wondering if I relocate to Australia or UK will I see Nissan Maxima driven in that country? Also will find junk yards or auto parts stores that carry most parts? I hate to relocate and be the only one in the whole country driving this particular make and model. Thanks Paul

My guess, (only a guess), since those countries are more socialistic, their governments would promote newer vehicles to everyone, I wouldn't think that their parts stores and -or wrecking yards would have older Nissan stuff at all. The USA would still be a better source in that regard. I'm just guessing in a logical manner.

On this question again, for the fun of it, I went to Austrailian E-Bay. There were no Maxima's in the 80's for sale. As for parts, just a couple of timing belts and filters. I went to E-Bay England, almost zero there, some listings, but originating in the USA. I would also imagine that in the UK, any older Maxima would have rusted out.

Look for posts by member davehoos, he used to post quite a bit, from Australia. I think the Maxima there was named something different? Maybe that's why you didn't find anything if you searched for "Maxima." Evidently Australia got a wider range of Nissan diesel vehicles than we got in the US.

Duh, what a dummy I am. I should have known that the same Nissan vehicles have different names like Bluebird, Cedric, Skyline, etc. There are a few Patrols that come up when you click on LD28, and some of those are turbo's.

Looked again in Australia, tried all the Nissan-Datsun names, the only LD28 is in the Patrols. At least as advertised in their E-Bay.
