I actually don't consider that to be too bad for an overhaul although it is expensive dollar wise.

$630 is a low to middle-of-the-road price to overhaul a Four cylinder VE-style IP. Our Six cylinder version is more expensive, of course

Labor was $425. Feed pump was $55.

Were there any visible effects of ULSD on any of the seals etc., or did H&H give you any idea that this pump was affected by ULSD?

This truck was never run on ULSD -- it's been more-or-less sitting for the past year, only rarely being run.

It has had biodiesel in it, but whose BD and how much I can't say.

All the o-rings returned were permanently compressed in some fashion, with a loss of resiliency. They are twenty years old, so this is what I expect.

H&H sent me only the receipt above, no other written communication, and while I called H&H several times, I did not get any feedback about the condition of the unit during rebuilding..

I often reply to old threads, and I think it's perfectly appropriate.
