Another trip ... this time, Phoenix, AZ

Left home about 1:00pm. First stop to stretch my legs ... Chiriaco Summit, the General Patton Museum.



There's nearly always CHP working west of Blythe, CA. This CHP did a turn around from the west side and was tearing for someone ahead of me, going east.


Next, Ehrenberg, AZ for stretch.


Stopped in Tonapah after night. Motel. Left morning just before early dawn for these ...

Q#1. Why is car diesel less than the other one. It is becasue of the different pumping facility for the truckers, HV pumps etc, or is it becasue a different road tax

Q#2. Why is it that everything that you buy to eat at a "Flying J" travel plaza tastes like diesel fuel

Now when I eat at JUBITZ truckstop in Portland, OR, they keep diesel out of their restaurant ... though some truckers like black oil draining in their coffee.

Now the bar may not ... during winter. Or is it there may be some Vodka in their diesel fuel.
