Thanks for the pic. Looking forward to more. I'd love to transplant an LD28 into something someday. Just don't know what...or when.

 yes, it has been very wet hasn't it. Just back in from digging a trench around and through my vege garden patch tp try to drain a saturated soil. And still it rains on...

Nice van. I have had a few ford vans in the past including a transit. They go well and I'd love to have had an LD28 one. These motors into that body = economy road trips. Is that a pop top camper set up? Very nice if it is. Cheers for the engines pics. I assume that air box and ducting is a part of the van and you are not getting so much rain down there you are going to turn it amphibious... :D

Look forward to seeing how you go about an airbox solution.

Cheers,

Phil

Airbox

Yes the air box is from the van. I'll try to tidy it up instead of going for the pod filter. The yellow hose take air from under the engine area and is siliconed onto the outlet. The black hose goes right across above the radiator fan to the intake manifold. Just had the brake booster reconditioned as with the vacuum leak in it I had major problems with the auto changing into gear.
