it only had blown head gasket but i had only to weeks to get rid of it or get kick out of our house wife and three kids or truck truck lost

I bet you got less than $1500 . What did it bring?

This is an issue i do not understand. When backed into a corner, why not put a scrap/salvage price on it ? It would give the rest of us an incentive to buy it even when we do not need it just to keep it from the scrap yard.
