Yeah, but you don't need to use the [anchor] tag to refer to the top of a post . . . you normally use [gotopost=xxxx] for that.

Use the [anchor] tag to refer to an anchor within a post that is down the post a ways. Let's you refer to the middle or end of a post. Example:
