Hi, does anybody know the torque setting of the flywheel bolts for an LD28 engine with manual transmission. I've done a search of the forum but couldn't find any info.
Thanks, David.

101-116 lbs-ft for the flywheel bolts, from the FSM.

That seems a little high, but I checked it back and forth... Might want to do a reality hit with somebody that installs manual trannys. It's been years since I had an engine apart and I don't recall the torque ballpark.
Best luck. Rufus

Heres my method: Red loctite and about 5 raps with an impact wrench.

My Chilton manual says 94-108 ft/lbs for the gasoline L24-L28, and a bit less for the V6.
