nissanlaurel gearbox

Hi there, I hae a nissan laurel 1993 c4 rd28 car and need to know some info on what typeof gearbox it has in it so I can hunt a good conditioned one out. will the boxs that are behind the ld28 do the job? also does anyone have and parts diagrams for the suspension system in this car eg bushs and what not.

What part of the world.

after 90's RD28 use a full electronic auto.look at C33/C34 and nissan crew,cedric wagon.its not a good transmission but not hard to make up one.ive just binned my skyline box for a manual.it was a used jap import out of a RB20DET C33 and lasted about 20K.

if you cant get one at the right price fit a skyline/laurel RB20 gearbox.
you need the diesel starter motor and ring gear with a petrol flywheel.
patrol flywheel clutch is better.90's laurel dont use the same floor as the skyline.

he has a manual gearbox.FS5W71C
i assumed it as late model so it would be auto.

rattly gear box
low idle.
clutch plate center worn,
just needs bearings in the box.

nissan patrol RD28T has a bigger dia clutch and you need the flywheel/stater to suit.

the gent may want to see some pictures as these arnt common world wide.
