auto q's---new question
is there a kickdown for the auto??
i have a feeling its vaccuum controlled via a little dooh dah on the IP????
my new motor is missing this part...so will the trans kickdown at all? or will it be a manual shift now with the shifter?
i figured out why the end of the crank was different, theres a spacer on the end of the crank that pops off...so thats all sorted now.
trans is now on the new motor and am gonna put the turbo and manifolds on today..
might even get it into the van today too...if i can manage to get the oil pressure line into the collet, its being a pig bear and wont go through..gggrrr

oh cool...i was wondering what that switch was for
seeing as its a custom install i have no idea whats what in it..
shes all in,BUT i managed to snap a steel pipe off the bottom of the trans when i was manouvering in there...only noticed once it had fluid in it..
easy fix though...
should be fired up tonight

got it going this arvo..
just cranked it over for ages, then primed it,and repeated over and over agin over an hour or so.
almost started then died, so i repeated it, then it fired so i kept it turning over and it finally took...then it idled perfectly
sounds real good...
will offer it up for sale now though..
have too many things on the go to finish it..
ill keep it if i can sell some other toys instead though
