Nissan Diesel engines for conversions.

Hi Guys. I'm a new member.

I used to fit Nissan diesel engines to large petrol cars way back in 1980's and 90's. I even fitted a 2.8 litre Nissan diesel to my 1966 Cadillac DeVille! Brilliant fun back then!

I have a couple of cars here now that I'd like to convert to diesel but can no longer find those type of engines I used back then. All the modern ones have sensors and the like and I'm not sure if they'd work or how I'd even get them to work. Do any of you know if the older engines and RWD transmissions that I used before are available anymore? Surely they didn't just all disappear in the 16 years since I done my last conversion?
