Looking for some info on adding a turbo to my ld20 11 Serena.
First off let me say I've read through the forum so I'm aware of the
pit falls of adding it to an NA engine, pistons oil spray, compression, IP etc.
Im just looking to get a bit more power and hopefully better
economy, only use low boost.
I really like the van for its size and ease of driving, although it
has a few not so good points.
Got a lot of experience building bike engines, including a few race
bikes.
Has anyone got any clear pictures or drawings of manifold, turbo,
exhaust setup.
I have seen a few turbo/manifolds on ebay but they don't look right
for my engine.
I have two down pipes coming off the bottom of the exhaust manifold.
Think at the very least I need:
Manifold
Turbo
Oil feed and return
Not sure if I can use my down pipes or if they are completely
different on turbo.
Sorry not had chance to get the heat shield off manifold yet to see
what's underneath.
Thanks for any info.
How do I add picture?

the turbo bolts to a new manifold.
then after the turbo is the dump pipe and engine pipe.
this is normally single large dia pipe.
restricting the DUMPED gases reduces boost.
out of the compressor[air] side the plumbing normally goes straight to the manifold in the middle of the engine.between 2-3 cylinder.
the turbo could be fitted like the CD20 serena so that its mounted to the rear or the engine beside the clutch housing.the exhaust raps forward first and the fresh air pipes can be run to allow cooling[intercooler].
