Corky rebuilt your engine and is now driving the truck he put it in. He called me last night and is happy with it. He went all the way through it, with new pistons/liners, rebuilt head, and rebuilt the injection pump.

Glad to hear it ,thanks to this forum,helped link us together ,i hope his truck can be enjoyed to the maximum potential,and no future breakdowns.There is quite a feeling you get from hearing those engines purr,they are so simple yet efficient i really now want to persue an old Datsen to transplant my current motor and transmission into.
Makes me forget about Toyota trucks I found a 720 gasser, four banger in good shape from cali,i 4x4 up here for 3 thousand id be keen to buy it and later do a swap .
