LD28 into 280z

[280ZD 2+2]

Hello everyone

i have a 1977 280z 2+2 auto and i also have an LD28 from an 81-83 maxima. i am looking for any info as far as installing the ld28 into my Z. the LD is attatched to a 4n71b 4 speed auto. the engine came with a lot of other parts from the maxima the engine came out of as well as some parts for a early 280zx 5 speed swap which i am looking to do as well. I am looking for any info i kno its been done. i cant seem to find anything on google or this sites search function. thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure anyone on here has ever done anything like that.

There will be some challenges I am sure, but not saying it cant be done.
Fuel supply and exhaust will be something you may want to consider.
Not sure what side of the engine the gasser exhausts from but if it's the same then that may be no issue at all.
There are electrical things that will have to be considered and I assume you got the glow timer etc for the LD.

Let us know how it goes and perhaps submit some photos of your "project"
