Gen 1 maximas with LD28 engines

Hey all
I was visiting the Autozone parts page a while back and noticed that their system knows what percentage of cars came with certain powerplants. Now this could be far from accurate, but it indicates the following with regard to the gen 1 Maxima and the LD28 engine.

For
1981 - 13% (were imported with this engine)
1982 - 27%
1983 - 5%
1984 - LD28 not listed as available on their site.

Interesting information IF we had the total importation figures for the gen 1 maxima. Then we could determine the number of total cars imported with LD28 and perhaps extrapolate from that an estimate of how many might remain on the road.
