Work shop manual early ed33t wanted

Buy it, sell it, negotiate, haggle, drag it out from under the workbench or behind the garage and make it someone else's problem!

Work shop manual early ed33t wanted

Hi good morning / evening etc

I fitted an ED33t into my land rover defender 110 by mistake in early 2023 ( I was told it was an FD35t , it looked like my fd35 NA But with a turbo 🤷🏼‍♂️) , anyway , I love it , it’s a great engine apart from needing a rebuild , but I’m having a real problem sourcing the right parts , I keep getting asked for part numbers and piston measurements etc but have no idea how to find the part numbers and I’m very dubious about taking it all apart to measure the pistons , it’ll leave me without transport whilst waiting and hoping to source the correct parts .. being in the uk getting parts is a little time consuming to say the least

So firstly does anyone know where I can get a workshop manual ? That would really help my DIY rebuild effort.
Secondly Does anyone know where abouts the model / serial numbers are on the block so I can at least start my search for parts with some sort of definite information of what I need ? I’ve looked on the engine as best I can see with it still being in my land rover and can’t see anything , a location would help so I’m not stripping every thing off it to gain access only to find it’s on the other side ..

Any help would be appreciated as I’m really struggling with the engine and I don’t particularly want to bin it and go back to a land rover engine ..

Thanks in advance

I am sorry I am unfamiliar with this series of engines, maybe Al(asavage) knows something.

This forum has been slow lately, it might take some time to get a response.
I know the voices are not real,
but they have some really good ideas.

Yeah I didn’t expect to receive replies straight away and I’m learning very quickly there’s not a great deal of info about these engines out there , not outside of industry anyway , they seem to be very industry based engines , excavators and trucks etc .. I’m starting to thing I do need to take it apart and take measurements , oh the joy ..

Oh by the way , the voices are real ..
