Hi guys,
I have a 2009 NISSAN VANETTE TRUCK SKP2TN. Since yesterday I cannot restart my vehicle. And I cannot see the battery indicate wrong dashboard. I thought battery is dead so I remove and charge it on external charger. After fixing it still problem is same.
No battery indicator at all.
And I tried read with odd 2. But it is not connecting.
What should be the problem, kindly help me.

Regards.

I do not know much about your vehicle, I have SD series engines in my diesel vehicles, first thing I would check is the fusible links and alternator connections on my truck.

My friend called me one day and said his SD22 engine would not start(cold outside/cold engine), he said it would not even try to hit at all, he was testing the engine and wiring harness in a bare frame, I asked him if his glow plugs were warming up and he said yes, so I went over and watched him try to start it, since it was a bare frame with the wiring harness mostly laying on the ground so he did not have a glow plug light connected, so he actually did not know if the glow plug light was on, I suggested that he put a test light on one of the glow plugs to see if the glow plugs had any power when he turned the key on, they did not and the engine would not start.

Like I said, I do not know much about LD diesel engines, if it will not start I would test for power to the glow plugs first, if they have power, then I would check to make sure that the solenoid that controls if the engine is actually getting fuel is working if it has a solenoid, I believe the engine I have that has a VE type injection pump pump needs power to the solenoid to give the injection pump fuel to run the engine.

I am guessing here, I have never personally seen an LD engine before except in a photo of a Datsun 320 engine compartment with a LD20 installed.
