Have you thought about insulating the cab with some dynomat or herculiner or something. If you quiet the cab from outside noises the engine could be making pedestrians ears bleed while you can chill to some classical

Yeah, that was my first try really. I got a bunch of stuff from Second Skin Audio it insulated the entire inside of the cab - it helped a lot but not enough.

I went ahead with my snorkel project it's already making a big difference. I'll post pictures when I get a chance...

Using your turbine between an air filter and a throttle body ... without the pump ... would reduce intake noise.
