I don't even know what your post means, but thankyou for keeping this site going. wayne

It happened again, sometime in the past week. That script saved my bacon; it's so much easier to fix this when I take good notes!asavage wrote:Every so often -- measured in months -- the N4100Pro will lose the old LanMan password and while the 'asavage' user is still showing in the NAS' web interface, the OS/2 box cannot log in to it. That means no backups happen. As of today, this has happened twice (in about six months).

Hey Asavage! I was given an N4100Pro by a friend a long time ago. Never got around to testing it out, just now dusted it off to see if I can make heads or tails of it. Found this post assumably for the same reason that Bithellio posted here: I can't get the software to install because I can't login to the setupasavage wrote: 2 years ago I lost the backed-up copy of the DOM code in a HDD crash (sent the drive off to a drive recovery specialist, but for $1200 they couldn't recover some specific files I'd wanted, so I told them to toss the drive).
The other links I've posted above seem to still work. Is there something you're not finding?
ftp is File Transfer Protocol. It's very old. It's insecure (which means one could use sftp instead, if one were so inclined) and nowadays only us old fogies know about it.Valency wrote: 11 months agoI guess I'm unsure what to do when it comes to downloading your alternate link with the files, given that it's asking me for an application to run on this browser (Firefox). Is there a program that I'm missing? Thanks!
