Low frequency thumping. Driveline bearing?

When I pull away from a stop there is a rapid deep thumping sound that sounds like it may be coming from the rear end. Its usually 5 fast thumps just as I let the clutch out fully. If I am rolling along it doesn't happen, only from a stop.

Have you checked the driveshaft center support bearing's rubber support? I think you can see it without even really getting under the truck, if you can get your head low enough and have a good flashlight. The rubber gets bad and lets the driveshaft knock around.

Funny you should mention that bearing, thats exactly what is broken. I went over a curb and it got way worse. I don't have any free time right now so my mechanic is getting the gig.
